Dedicated to continuous improvement
I am constantly looking for innovative ways to accomplish work more efficiently and with higher quality. Currently, this is what is needed for the system. We need an effective way to support our children and teachers to achieve higher academic goals.
With years of financial experience, I strive to better manage $3.3 billion budget. My goal is to identify new fundraising opportunities, and invest our money where it is needed.
I am motivated to serve as your TDSB trustee. As a father of a 2-year-old daughter, I want her to have the best education. All of you would want the same for your kids. Together we can make that happen.
My name is Louis Wang. I am a professional accountant with CPA, CGA designation. Ever since high school, I have been actively volunteering in the community and try to provide the best I could.
I graduated with honour from York University Schulich School of Business with an International Bachelor of Business Administration degree. I believe in the importance of great education，so the foundation must be solid. Our kids, our future generation will be a great place to start. Good education will benefit our children, or even us, as adults.
As a father of a 2-year-old daughter, I am just like anyone of you: one that cares about our community, one that cares about our future, and one that cares about our kids. As a young professional who lived many years in this community, I have seen cuts to school programs that make things worse for kids. I want to bring changes that make our programs better, and MAKE THINGS RIGHT.
It is time for a new person to bring fresh new ideas to Toronto education. I want to be your voice as TDSB Ward 21 Trustee. I believe together we can make a difference for our future.
Please support Louis Wang for TDSB Ward 21 Trustee.
We owe it to our students to support their academic success as well as their mental health, have high expectations, provide learning supports and nurture their self-esteem, social responsibility and civic engagement.
Walkways, Kiss & Ride Lanes as well as vehicle congestion are among the most common issues shared by Parents, Teachers, Residents and Transportation Drivers.
It is critical that funding for education stays within the classroom and that resources are readily available for the continuously growing population of TDSB students.
